NDYM leader advocates implementation of amnesty programmes
The leader of Niger Delta Youth Movement Rivers State chapter NDYM, Comrade Henry Chukwu has called on the federal government to ensure the implementation of all the conditions attached to the amnesty.
Part of the conditions lined up for the amnesty to commence was the practical and proper development of the region, rehabilitation and training of all repentant militants.
The youth leader said he was existed as one of them is now at the helm of affairs of the country, that it was due to logistic they would have gone to Abuja to press home their demands.
He urges the present administration to stop all bottle necks and come out with words that match with actions for real development and stop playing lips services.
He said the movement was joining other well-meaning Nigerians to pray for the quick recovery of our President who he said has the Niger Delta at heart and thanked all those that have advocated for Jonathan installation as the acting President.
He described National Assembly's intervention as a welcome relief thought it came too late, but at the right time.
The NDYM leader applauded eminent Nigerians, Senators, lawmakers and all those who worked hard to ensure that Nigeria remains one.
It is evidently clear that the federal government has considered it important to implement the development plans of the region.

The youth leader commending the acting President on his new position, said with Dr. Goodluck Jonathan as acting President there is going be relative peace in the Niger Delta region and Nigeria in general.
They pledged their support to all Niger Delta youths that have been fighting a just course and used the occasion to thank the Nigerian press for their role in the Niger Delta struggle.
