Following the twisting development of events and President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua's arrival, most Nigerians have started to ask basic questions.
One of the questions on the lips of Nigerians is who is in-charge, considering recent developments in the country.
Our reporters who sought the opinions of people in Port Harcourt said some of the respondents expressed fears as to who is really in charge.
A medical scientist, Mr. Chris Amadi said the way and manner events are occurring in the country show that we have two Presidents.
Mr. Amadi said the manner the aides of Yar'Adua are handling his health shows that there is a cabal that is playing on the intelligence of majority of Nigerians, adding that such a development underminds the truth practice of democracy.
He advised the Federal Executive Council to swear-in Jonathan as the President has admitted that he is unfit to rule the country.
In his opinion, the Federal Executive Council had twisted situations about the health of the President that were clear before now, adding that even the six-man committee came back without seeing the President in Saudia Arabia.
Also speaking, Niger Delta Youth leader, Mr. Sampson Dimkpa threatened that any unconstitutional action would be challenged.
He said the Pro-Yar'Adua should tell Nigerians “if the President is fit to rule the country let him come out and address us.
He said there is a lot of secrecy and dishonesty in the handling of the President's health.
A clergy man who spoke on the condition of animosity said “the country is on a time bomb” which can explode at any time.
In his speech, Mr. Bethel Soku called for divine intervention and advised those piloting the affairs of the country to follow the constitution.
