Lawmakers task public holders on transparency

The Chairman, Committee on Information, Culture, Media and Communication, in Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Chief Hon. Robert Enogha has called on political office holders in the country to be transparent in their dealings in order to impact positively on the people.
Enogha made this statement during an award organized by Newsday Magazine, which was in recognition of his contribution to the hospitality, and out standing performance in the State Assembly.
Chief Enogba who dedicated his award to God and his supporters, rested his commitment to visionary leadership that would set the State on the path of greatness and translate into reality, the true meaning of democracy.
He expressed gratitude to Newsday Magazine and the Chieftaincy title "Tariowei Keni of Agudaibe" given to him by the Chiefs and entire people of Ekpetiama Clan, with whom he said he had no previous relationship.
He thanked them for the gesture and pledge to continue to be humble and dedicated to justify the confidence reposed on him by the people.
Meanwhile, lawmaker representing Kolokuma/Opokuma Constituency I Mr. Ebi-Unduma Komonibo, has declared his intention to work with the Kolge house political family.
He made the declaration at Odi amidst supporters from his constituency. Komombo said the declaration became necessary considering the visionary leadership of Governor Timipre Sylva.
Hon. Komonibo urged the Green Movement family to work with the Kolga House, and commended the political style of the chairman, Hon. Waripamower Dudata.
Also speaking, a top member of the Kolga local assembly from Odi Mr. Rhodesig Whyte,, reiterated the open door policy of the Kolga House political family and assured the new members that there is no discrimination in the House.
